Influence of dosage of steel fibres on the loss of consistency of fresh concrete and compresive strength of hardened concrete.
Kuře, Václav ; Źalud, Oldřich (referee) ; Vymazal, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor work is focused on problems of a consistency of fresh fiber reinforced concrete. The consistency was characterized by a slump test and by a test of spilling how is it described in ČSN EN 12350. Obtained results are compared with a reference sample of a fresh concrete and between themselves. Further the work is focused on volumetric changes during maturation which are integral part of physical properties of the concrete. Influence of a dispersed reinforcement was monitored on the cube strength in plain pressure of individual mixed sample too. Total evaluation of tested parameters is states at the end of the work including comment about possible ways of interference of tests.
Design of simple engineering structure
Macková, Lucie ; Navrátil,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis processes methodology of calculating the deflection according to norm EN 1992-1. First of all it deals with the theory necessary to understand the whole process and explanation of each step. Next learned lessons are applied in the model calculation of deflections, which is performed at 3 beam elements of different construction heights. The resulting values are compared to point out changes in the final deflection according to different dimensions of the structure.
Modelling of diaphragm walls using time-dependent elasto-plastic material model
Šindelářová, Daniela ; Kotačková, Alena (referee) ; Chalmovský, Juraj (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was the verification of the advanced time-dependent elasto-plastic material model for modeling diaphragm walls. Currently, this type of construction is solved usually with a combination of linear-elastic volume and plate elements. To express time-dependent behaviour, there are both, volume and plate, elements active in short-term conditions, then only volume elements in long-term conditions, while plate elements are deactivated. In this thesis, the Shotcrete material model, which can capture the time-dependent behaviour without combining two types of construction elements, is used. First, a theory of time-dependent behaviour is presented and a design of concrete structures by Eurocode 2 is discussed. Next, the Shotcrete material model is described, then used for modeling a biaxial test and calibration of compression and bending test. Following the gained knowledge, a real boundary value problem of deep excavation supported by diaphragm walls with the strut was solved. To calculate values of the internal forces and horizontal deformation in diaphragm walls, three types of material models are used.
Bridge across Bystrica creek
Nani, Pavel ; Glovina, Filip (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The subject of my diploma thesis is a detailed static calculation of the post-tensioned concrete road bridge across Bystrica creek near Banska Bystrica in Slovakia. The bridge is element of turning ramp a motorway R1. The spatial curvature continuous bridge has 9 fields. It was made a spatial curvature computational model of the bridge for a structural analysis. The model was comparison with a straight computational model of the bridge. It is made comparison effect of the construction bridge in stages on the size of the internal forces too. The load-bearing structure was checked according to CSN EN 1992-1-1, CSN EN 1992-2 and CSN 73 6214.
Possibilities of reducing shrinkage of concrete and development of concrete recipes with limited shrinkage.
Stoklásek, Martin ; Louda,, Pavel (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of volume changes of concrete and their causes. The theoretical part describes the various types of volume changes in concrete and the causes of their occurrence. Influence of concrete mix design and concreting conditions on volume changes. Methods for reducing volume changes are also addressed. The experimental part is focused on the development of recipes with limited volume changes. In which the development of shrinkage is monitored from an early age up to 60 days and at the same time the development of compressive strengths at 2, 7, 28 and 60 days is also monitored.
Diagnostics of steel fiber reinforced concrete industrial floors
Kuře, Václav ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
This final thesis is divided into two parts. The first, theoretic part is focused on issue about industrial concrete floors, their production and adjustment. Special attention is paid to the mineral shakes, steel fibres and concrete, which is used to these constructions. There are more information about specific standardized tests of steel fibre concrete and some damages of concrete floors in other chapters. Second part of the diploma thesis is practical. Theoretical knowledge are applied to the actual construction. Survey methodology and diagnostic work are also desribed. Data processing and evaluation with the commentary is also attached to this part. The conclusion summarizes the results and selected findings relating to the issue are also included there.
: Development of special high strength concrete with low volume changes
Meruňka, Milan ; Hela,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with problems of volume changes of concrete, especially shrinkage of concrete. Types of concrete changes, causes, occurrences, and ways to eliminate them are described. The experimental part is focused on monitoring the volume changes of concrete within 28 days of maturing using a different type and dose of shrinkage reducing additions, a summary of cement pastes within 24 hours of mixing, the development of temperatures of the hydration temperatures of concrete and cement pastes.
